Peter Bergman is an Australian expedition leader and the founder of Beyond Expedition Consulting.After nearly a decade leading expeditions across Antarctica, the Arctic, and the Indo-Pacific, Peter has built one of the most diverse regional portfolios in the industry - guiding guests through the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, the Kimberley, West Papua, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, and Tonga, among others.A career at sea was never the plan - it was a deliberate choice. Drawn to wildlife, remote landscapes, rare cultures, and the operational challenge of working in extreme environments, Peter spent nearly eight years with Silversea Expeditions, progressing from Staff Assistant to Expedition Leader on some of the world's most ambitious itineraries.That firsthand experience - leading operations, managing guest safety, navigating complex regulatory environments, and delivering exceptional experiences at the highest end of the market - is the foundation of everything BEC offers.BEC was founded on a simple premise: the best consulting comes from people who have actually done the work.
